- 550 g beef shoulder, cubed
- 110 g peanut butter
- 350 g crushed tomato
- 140 g onion, chopped
- 200 g carrots, sliced
- 260 g potatoes, cubed
- 30 ml neutral oil
- 700 ml water
- 7 g fine salt
Cooking method
Pot
- Brown beef
Heat oil and brown beef cubes on all sides.
- Cook base
Add onion and cook until soft, then stir in crushed tomato.
- Build stew
Add carrots, potatoes, peanut butter, water and salt and mix until smooth.
- Simmer
Cover and simmer until beef and vegetables are tender and sauce is thick.
