- 180 g onion
- 80 g wheat bread Contains gluten.
- 250 ml milk Contains milk and lactose.
- 3 eggs Contains egg.
- 8 g curry powder
- 30 g apricot jam
- 20 ml vinegar
- 2 bay leaves
- 20 ml neutral oil
- 7 g fine salt
Cooking method
Oven
- Soak bread
Soak bread in part of the milk, then squeeze lightly and reserve the milk.
- Cook beef
Cook onion and beef with curry powder and salt until browned.
- Season filling
Mix in soaked bread, jam and vinegar.
- Bake filling
Spread in a baking dish and bake briefly.
- Add topping
Whisk eggs with remaining milk, pour over the beef and add bay leaves.
- Finish bake
Bake until the custard topping is set and golden.
