- 250 g cornmeal
- 900 ml water
- 450 g mushrooms, sliced
- 140 g onion, thinly sliced
- 28 ml olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 g fresh parsley
- 7 g fine salt
Cooking method
Pan
- Cook mamaliga
Bring water and half the salt to a boil, whisk in cornmeal and cook on low heat until thick and smooth.
- Saute mushrooms
Cook onion in olive oil, add mushrooms and cook until browned, then add garlic and remaining salt.
- Finish
Serve hot mushrooms over the cornmeal and top with parsley.
