- 600 g firm tofu Contains soy.
- 45 ml soy sauce Contains soy and gluten.
- 30 ml sesame oil Contains sesame.
- 25 g fresh ginger
- 4 garlic cloves
- 15 g brown sugar
- 15 ml rice vinegar
- 30 g basil leaves
- 20 ml neutral oil
- 600 g cooked rice
Cooking method
Pan
- Brown tofu
Pat tofu dry, cube it and brown it in neutral oil.
- Cook aromatics
Add ginger and garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Glaze
Add soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar and vinegar.
- Reduce
Cook until the sauce becomes glossy and coats the tofu.
- Finish
Fold in basil and serve with rice.
