Cooking method

Preparation

  1. Prepare the coffee

Brew strong coffee and let it cool before dipping the biscuits.

  2. Make the cream

For classic, whisk eggs and sugar, then fold with mascarpone. For vegan, sweeten the plant-based cream alternative until smooth.

  3. Dip the biscuits

Briefly dip the biscuits in coffee so they absorb flavor without falling apart.

  4. Layer

Alternate coffee-soaked biscuits and cream in a small dish.

  5. Dust and chill

Dust with cocoa and chill until set before slicing or scooping.
